Some of you may remember Kayla who bartended here for many years under previous owners. I never got the chance to meet her, but I have heard from some regulars here that she was a joy to be around, and that she made the best dumplings.

It just so happened that her aunt Linda stopped in last Thursday, and noticed we needed some help! Linda volunteered her time yesterday to come in and show us how to make potato dumplings the right way! I'm not from this area, and I hadn't had pork steak and dumplings before, but when I tried her dumplings I understood what all the hype is about.

It may still take time for us to perfect them, but with some patient instruction we've come a long way.

Our food order is here, and we are ready to rock and roll!

124 cases this week, and that's just the FOOD! I am absolutely floored at the business we've received and so so grateful to all of our friends and neighbors here in Albertville. THANK YOU GUYS!!

Alright, I'll keep the sappiness to a minimum today 😉 I gotta put this truck away!

We have our Chicken & Ribs specials tonight, come get your Albertville fix!

We will be closed tomorrow (Monday 8/21) and Tuesday 9/1 due to low inventory. We sold out of ham, sausage, eggs, burgers, wings, tenders, hot beef, onion rings, pizzas, cod, fried shrimp, and are very low on some other things. We do have plenty of Chicken & Ribs for tonight though!

We weren't sure what to expect for our first week open full-time, and were VERY pleasantly surprised with the turnout. You guys blew us away, and to that we say THANK YOU!!!!

We are very sorry for any inconvenience this closure might cause. Our next delivery will be here bright and early Wednesday morning, and we will reopen at 7am Wednesday for our regular business hours.

The Pork Steak Special is BACK at Albertville, with the addition of a Thursday Pasty Special alongside it.

Pasties are a famous comfort food in Michigan's Upper Penninsula. They resemble a calzone, and are filled with beef, pork, and potatoes. I like to top mine with ketchup, but you can also top with gravy.

Come give it a try!

Today marks the one month anniversary of Albertville Tavern reopening under new ownership!

Over the last 30 days we've gained some fantastic experience, made lots of new friends, and heard many more stories of Albertville's rich history from those who've watched it evolve over the years.

None of this would be possible without your support, your grace, and faith in us to bring the Tavern back to it's former glory. We've made plenty of mistakes, and run dozens of experiments to find what works in today's market and in this particular space. We've had days that tested our resilience, and we've had days where things just clicked and flowed. The nights where our guests all left satisfied, and our staff still had pep in their step and smiles on their faces by the end of the shift have made this whole process worth the time and trial, and has given us the confidence to go all in.

Today we celebrate month 1 for us, and day 1 for Albertville breakfast, lunch, & dinner 7 days/week.

Starting today, we'll be open everyday, 7am-9pm.

We are very excited for this change, and hope it helps us put Albertville back on the map. We ask for your continued patience while the crew here adjusts to the new hours and menu, and we look forward to seeing what the future holds ❤️🖤

It's Chicken Sunday at Albertville & buckets are back, baby!

Chicken Buckets come with our thick cut seasoned fries & coleslaw to share. Offered as a 12pc or 24pc standard with the option to add extra pieces to your liking.

We also have 1/2 & Full racks of BBQ Ribs available on our Sunday Dinner menu! Comes with soup or salad, bread basket, you know the drill!

We are open 3-9pm tonight for Fish fry!

Our friend Erick Woods surprised us with this nice menu graphic! How cool is that?

No changes to the menu this week. We do still have the Nikki Special & Salad Bowls, I just forgot to list them when I typed up the last menu. Whoops! 😅

The beloved hand battered cheese curds are back in stock, and we haven't changed a thing about them! (Except, of course, that they're now fried in beef tallow 😋)

We have a full crew tonight and are looking forward to seeing everyone again!

Albertville Tavern is hiring!

We are looking for cooks, platers, dishwashers, food runners and servers!

Please PM me your resume or work experience and the position you are most interested in and we can schedule an interview.

Minimum age for platers, food runners, and dishwashers is 14. Cooks must be 16+, and servers must be 18+ to serve alcohol. All staff should have reliable means of transportation.

Perks of working at the Tavern include flexible scheduling, weekly pay, free shift-meal, and a shift-drink for employees over 21.

What's new at the Albertville Tavern?

Some new additions to our menu this week:
Pulled pork sandwiches (my personal favorite)
& Pulled chicken sandwiches

We've also made the switch to Beef Tallow in our fryers!

We will be welcoming a few new crew members this weekend, be sure to say hi to them!

And finally, we had a good chunk of our equipment serviced over the past week, including our A/C! We like our buns toasted, but only the ones for sandwiches😉

The staff here has all been phenomenal during this transition and any issues that we've encountered has been due to technical difficulties, equipment failures, and myself not being up to speed. It is not a reflection of our crew or their abilities. If you have any complaints, please bring them to me personally so we can get them resolved.

We look forward to serving you again this weekend!
