⚾🏆 MORE THAN JUST A GAME… MEMORIES THAT LAST A LIFETIME! 🏆⚾

This one takes me back to June of 2014, right after we won the State Championship against CHCA! Maddox was just 3 years old at the time. Hard to believe how quickly the years have gone by!
Looking back, I realize that some of the greatest memories from my coaching days had very little to do with wins, losses, or championships.
It was about the relationships. The friendships. The countless hours spent at ballparks. The kids who gave me the opportunity to coach them, the incredible parents I met along the way, and the amazing coaches I was fortunate enough to share the dugout with.
From my Defiance College days, to the Parkway Panthers, to St. Henry Legion, and eventually my Coldwater Varsity, ACME, and youth coaching days — every stop along that journey gave me memories and friendships I’ll always cherish.
As coaches, we always hope we can make some kind of positive impact on the young people we work with. Whether it was teaching the game, building confidence, instilling discipline, or simply being someone they could count on, I hope I was able to make even a small difference in someone’s life.
But here’s something I’ve come to appreciate more and more as I’ve gotten older…
While I was hoping to make an impact on their lives, so many of those kids, parents, and fellow coaches were making an impact on mine.
And for that, I’ll forever be grateful.
So here’s a big shoutout to everyone who was part of that journey. Whether we spent one season together or many years, I hope life is treating you well, your families are doing great, and you’re continuing to chase whatever makes you happy.
The trophies eventually collect dust. The uniforms get put away. The seasons come and go.
But the friendships, the lessons, the laughter, and the memories? Those stay with you forever. ❤️
Thank you all for being part of a chapter in my life that I’ll never forget!
Keep the path. Keep making memories. And never underestimate the positive impact you can have on someone else’s life.
