🇺🇸 September 11, 2001 — I’ll Never Forget Where I Was. 🇺🇸

I was in 8th grade when the world seemed to stop.

I remember our school bringing all of us into the gym. They wheeled in the TVs, and we sat there together watching everything unfold right in front of us. At that age, I don’t think any of us could fully understand what we were witnessing or how much that day would change our country forever.

But I remember the feeling. I remember the confusion, the fear, and watching the adults around us trying to process something none of us could believe was actually happening.

Now, 25 years later, that memory is still so clear.

Today, I think about the 2,977 people who lost their lives, the families who said goodbye that morning never knowing it would be the last time, and the first responders and everyday heroes who ran toward danger to help complete strangers.

I also remember what happened afterward — how people came together, hugged their families a little tighter, helped their neighbors, flew our flag proudly, and stood together as Americans. ❤️🤍💙

Some moments in history are impossible to forget. For so many of us, 9/11 is one of those moments.

Today, let’s remember together. 🇺🇸
