Our logo is more than just a design—it’s a piece of our family story. It was created by the incredibly talented Kyla Roades Farkas, an artist from Wisconsin. When we started this journey, we knew one thing for certain: Bob’s family ‘77 Ford truck had to be part of our logo. This truck has been in the family for many years and represents hard work, tradition and the memories that brought us here.
There’s another special connection to the red truck, too. Julie’s uncle worked at the Tonka Toy factory and because of that she had a red Tonka truck that became a favorite childhood memory. Looking back, it’s amazing how those small moments from our past found their way into the story of Red Truck Ice Cream.
We didn’t want our logo to be just another ice cream cone. We wanted it to tell a story and represent who we are. The truck perfectly captures our small-town roots, family values and the nostalgia we hope every visit to Red Truck Ice Cream brings.
At the time, we had no idea the new fire and rescue department would eventually become our next-door neighbor, but it couldn’t be a more fitting connection. Just like the truck, it has become a symbol of community, service and hometown pride.
Our logo reminds us that Red Truck Ice Cream is about more than serving ice cream—it’s about creating memories, celebrating community and honoring the people and places that make our town special.

In 2022, a lot was happening behind the scenes. We spent several months waiting for an answer about purchasing the old Svihel Hardware building, all while dreaming about what it could become.
During that time we made plans to bring an epic ice cream shop to the Cold Spring community and create a fun destination for our cabin friends and visitors alike. Countless hours and plenty of blood, sweat, and tears have gone into restoring and reimagining this 133-year-old building.
Today, when people walk through the doors and say things like, “It smells so good in here!” or “Wow, this is a really cool shop!” those are the moments that make it all worthwhile.
We are incredibly proud to be part of this buildings history and grateful to be part of such a wonderful community. Thank you for your support over the last several years. None of this would be possible without you and we look forward to making many more memories together.
