It’s corn season!

Savitsky’s Farm brought us corn and some great broccolini. We did creamed corn puree, roasted the broccolini, and threw some delish red wine reduction over the top of braised short rib. Simple and delicious

Homemade meatball grinder with roasted marinara and shaved parm on a banh mi

Blackened fish tacos with greens and mango salsa on flour tortillas

Bison burger topped with extra sharp cheddar, Irish bacon, lettuce and tomato

Mmmm…stuffed French toast

We did mascarpone & strawberry compote in the middle of braided brioche. Topped with maple syrup & powdered sugar

We also have:

Queso fundido! Yup - we brought in some cheese whiz and blended it with homemade mac sauce. Topped with chorizo, candied jalapeños & more cheese. Served with fried tortillas

Pan-seared halibut over farm purple mashed with asparagus & garlic lemon cream sauce

I went to The Cuckoo’s Nest on Wednesday for some Mexican and this guy from Mississippi was playing music, and he had tonight open, so he’s playing here from 6-9. He’s kind of Stevie-Ray-Vaugh-ish but he also played Frank Sinatra, so I don’t really know where tonight is gonna go

Lobster risotto tonight! Made with homemade lobster stock and thinned out to order with a touch of homemade bisque. Lobster on top with of course, lobster butter

Ginger-marinated 14oz bone-in pork chop grilled & served over Chinese five-spice home fries with pickled baby bok choy & farm pesto

1/2 chicken over mashed potatoes with browned carrots & gravy

Enjoy this absolutely gorgeous stretch of weather - I may just leave and you can all go in the kitchen and cook your own food tonight
