🥩 Have you tried our Flap Steak Kabob yet?

Flap steak is an incredibly flavorful cut of beef that comes from the bottom sirloin, near the back of the cow. It’s known for its rich, beefy flavor and loose grain, which helps it soak up marinades beautifully and makes it tender, juicy, and full of flavor when cooked just right.

At The Golden Skewer, our chef marinates the flap steak in-house with our special blend of seasonings, giving every piece time to absorb all that flavor before it hits the grill. 🔥

Try it two ways:

✨ Flap Steak Plate — a full skewer of our marinated flap steak
✨ Steak Soltani Plate — the best of both worlds with one skewer of flap steak + one skewer of our signature beef koobideh

Our plates are served with saffron basmati rice, pita bread, and grilled vegetables. Or, if you’re just craving the kabob, you can order your skewers à la carte!

At The Golden Skewer, quality starts before we even open our doors. We head out early every morning to buy fresh, high-quality meat for that day — never frozen and never sitting around waiting for tomorrow.

Then we bring it back and grind it ourselves, in-house, because we truly believe you can TASTE the difference. 🤌

The flavor of our meat has become part of our signature, and we’re not willing to compromise on it. We want every skewer we serve to have that same fresh, juicy, flavorful taste that keeps you coming back for more.

We had such a special group visit us at The Golden Skewer! ❤️

These amazing people have been supporting us since week one, and a couple of days ago they brought the whole family along! It meant more to us than we can say. This group ended up being our biggest sale since opening, and we couldn’t be happier that such a memorable milestone was shared with people who have shown us so much love and support from the very beginning. 🥹✨

Thank you for continuing to come back, bringing your family, and supporting our little business. We are truly so grateful! ❤️

✨ Meet the Chef Behind The Golden Skewer ✨

Meet Vic, the heart and chef behind The Golden Skewer.

Vic worked as a mechanic from the time he was 16 years old. He put in long days, worked incredibly hard, and faithfully saved his earnings. Rather than letting that money sit, he believed in investing it in gold, trusting that one day it would help him achieve a much bigger dream.

When the time was right, Vic sold everything he had saved to open The Golden Skewer—making the name “Golden” more meaningful than many people realize. It’s a reminder that years of hard work, patience, and believing in a dream can become something real.

Cooking has always been part of who Vic is. His recipes, techniques, and passion were passed down by his grandfather, who taught him the traditions and values behind authentic Persian and Armenian cooking. Those lessons have been refined over a lifetime and are at the heart of every meal we serve.

One thing Vic believes without question is that great food starts with fresh ingredients. That’s why every single day he shops for fresh produce, herbs, and meats for that day’s service. He doesn’t prepare food days in advance or serve leftovers the next day. Instead, he carefully estimates what we’ll need so every customer gets the freshest meal possible.

Every skewer, every plate of saffron rice, and every grilled vegetable is prepared with the same care and attention he would give to family.

The Golden Skewer is more than a food truck—it’s years of sacrifice, family tradition, hard work, generosity, and a dream brought to life.

We’re so grateful to share that dream with Coeur d’Alene, and we can’t wait to welcome you.
