Brewmaster Thorsten Geuer brings one of his roots—and favorite b**r styles—to Bayern Brewing with this Kölsch. After more than 20 years focused on Bavarian b**rs, the time felt right to invite a classic non-Bavarian German style into the lineup—one best enjoyed the Cologne way: small glasses, steady pace, all evening long.
Brewed in collaboration with long-time mentors in Cologne, this b**r follows the city’s disciplined approach to balance and drinkability. Light-bodied, delicately hopped, and top-fermented, Kölsch is crisp, dry, and elegantly restrained—never heavy, always ready for the next pour.
The artwork features Cologne Cathedral, closely resembling Helena’s Cathedral of St. Helena—a reminder that great things are built patiently, sometimes over centuries. The three crowns reference the Three Wise Men, whose relics are said to rest inside the cathedral, drawing pilgrims for generations and, on occasion, a little extra help from upstairs when the local soccer club needed it most.
