Howdy. Just a note to tell all our family, friends and neighbors...A rather large Grizzly has been spotted in Cody, just a mile or mile and a half from the restaurant. Remember, it is better to buy lunch than to be lunch :)

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department says the bear was seen eating apples in a yard on Saturday.

Wow. What a "Mammoth" find for the Cody area. Just a few miles up the road from the Royal Palace at The Buffalo Bill Reservoir. That sure would of made a large "Rack o' Ribs", enjoyed with our very own BBQ Sauce or one of our 4 outstanding Hot Sauces.....

By Saturday afternoon, the suspected Columbian mammoth remains uncovered April 17 on the shore of the Buffalo Bill Reservoir had taken on something like a picnic atmosphere.

What a great picture of the "West Cody Strip" shared by Bob Kennedy and The Cody Enterprise. If you look real close you can see us on the left hand side as you head into Cody. We are right where the North and South Fork roads meet....Look Close now :) at the little red dot, that's our sign.

The western side of Cody, complete with Walmart, hotels and shops, is on display from far above the town.

The Royal Palace/ Fort Cody is always happy to be able to participate in the "Old Trail Town Christmas". What a fun event, put on by awesome people. If you missed it this year, check it out next year and get involved! We have loved Old Trail Town for 40 years...
