Built to resemble an old western saloon of the 1800's by the original owner/operator, Ruth Royal w/her ex Jim, her daughter Joni & family friend Mike Whetzel in 1977. Now owned by her children and operated by her daughter Joni and Kevin, The Royal Palace Restaurant sits besides the beautiful Shoshone River in Cody, WY and a mile from the original Colter's Hell. With views of Carter and Rattlesnake

Mountains to the West, and Heart Mountain to the North, the restaurant sits just 52 miles East of the East entrance of Yellowstone Park. Specialilizing in homestyle cooking which includes: Fresh Blueberry pancakes, Homemade sausage gravy, Buffalo Burgers, Steaks, Fried Chicken, Pork Ribs and Homemade Chili. So tie up your horse (we've got a place for that, too!), take a step up on the wooden sidewalk and come on in!
