Anyone who has used any of the national grocery delivery services knows that they pay a surcharge on the food. But did you ever realize how much? Here is a few examples from this week’s Publix ad which is the biggest grocery chain in our area. I am comparing it to the company I used to work for. The first price is the in-store price which is what you pay by shopping with me and the 2nd is what you pay by using the other company.

Publix Porterhouse Steak $6.99 per lb/$10.09 per lb

Publix chocolate chip cookies 24ct $3.00/$3.99

Greenwise Ribeye Angus Bone-In Steak $12.99 lb/$16.79 lb

Tropicana 52oz pure premium OJ $3.33/$4.79

Greenwise Organic Milk 1/2 gal $3.33/$3.89

Greenwise Paper Napkins $2.00/$2.49

These are just a few examples. As you can see, the upcharge can be quite significant. The bigger the order the more of an upcharge you are going to pay. With my service, all you pay is a $10 service charge, a 5 percent fee to dumpling, who provides my back office support and credit card processing and a minimum 10 percent tip.

So on a $100 order for example if you are being upcharged more than $15, I can save you money since most people are going to tip anyway.

Plus there are several other advantages by shopping with me. First, you get any sale price offered in the store not just select ones that the other apps decide to offer. You get the receipt so you get to see exactly what you are being charged.

I can also use digital coupons if any of your items have one and even use any of your loyalty programs if you have any. I can shop for you at any store that accepts visa. Additionally I shop for you on every order so there’s no worry about getting different shoppers that may not be experienced or give your order the attention and care it deserves.

If you want an item that these services are not honoring the in store sale that mark up can be 50 percent or more!
