It all started simply enough during December of 2015. Chris and Pat had been brewing beer for several years and each had visited hundreds of breweries, so they decided to start a brewery of their own. They teamed up with Mark and Paul and incorporated Dirty Oar Beer Company on January 1, 2016. All of 2016 was consumed by planning, paperwork and creating recipes to open the brewery with. Finally in

January of 2017, work began on the Dirty Oar Beer Company tap room and brewery. The tap room poured its first beers, all guest taps from Florida breweries, on June 30th and beer brewed right at Dirty Oar beer began to flow on August 19th.
