💕 I’m excited to finally share the first event we’ll be hosting in our new home!
If you’ve been following this transition with Q’s, then you already know it has been a complete faith walk. There have been delays, changes, things outside of our control and plenty of moments where I’ve had to remind myself to trust God’s timing instead of my own.
But one thing I’ve realized through all of it is how much it matters to have people around you encouraging you along the way.
And as we enter Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I couldn’t help but think about the women who are walking through a much different kind of faith walk right now. Every woman’s journey is different, but sometimes just knowing somebody is praying for you, thinking about you or rooting for you can mean so much. 💕
So for our first event at the new Q’s, we’re bringing back I AM HER, this time with Pink, Prayer & Purpose. 🎀🌸
I want us to put on our favorite shades of pink and spend the afternoon creating, laughing, fellowshipping and just enjoying being around other women.
We’ll be customizing our choice of a hat or tote with Retro Reef Boutique, creating our own mini floral bouquets, adding our prayers and affirmations to the Prayer Board, taking pictures, listening to music, eating and enjoying a few hours of good girl time.
And while we’re creating things for ourselves, we’re also going to take a moment to pour into one of our local sisters who is currently fighting breast cancer.
We’re going to create a special I AM HER tote and flowers for her, and have a space for everyone who wants to participate to leave her a prayer, affirmation or simple note of encouragement. We’ll put them all together for her so she has something tangible to remind her that there are women in her community rooting for her. 💕🎀
I think that’s what sisterhood should look like.
We can be in different seasons, fighting different battles and walking completely different paths and still take a moment to encourage the woman next to us.
So grab your girlfriend, sister, mama or daughter—or come by yourself because you are more than welcome to pull up a chair and meet some new sisters. 💕

I’ve missed creating experiences like this, and I think filling our new space with women laughing, creating, connecting and encouraging one another is a beautiful way for us to host our first event back. 💕🙏🏾
