Picture for attention!
I have always cooked outside, Summer and Winter. I've never really thought about cooking or smoking meat as a Summer kinda thing. I guess that's not how most people think? I hear when it gets cold outside, most people put a cover over their grill and wait until spring. Unfortunately I think that's how most people look at eating BBQ and especially since we don't have dine in at the moment. I don't have many people on staff right now and the ones I do have, I don't want to lose. I just can't lay them off until spring, or I will lose them to other jobs? I have a great staff, that wants and needs to work! I highly doubt we would be able to reopen in the spring, If that were to happened. The hiring market is kinda slim pickens at the moment! That's one of the reasons I keep the BBQ restaurant open all winter. I know the holidays get hectic and busy but, don't forget we are here cooking and serving you to the best of our ability. We are outside cooking in the Rain, snow, sleet, hail, blowing winds and lightning, along with extreme hot and cold temperatures. Sometimes I work up to 50 hours in just three days. This is what it takes for us to serve you! This isn't to impress you but, to impress upon you how important you are to us and your support is during this time of year.
