This weekend, we cooked for ourselves and it was amazing. Sunday morning al fresco breakfast, link sausages, fried potatoes, dippy eggs and Texas toast toast....soooo good. Today, we tried our hand at ribbon fries and they were awesome (maybe a new menu item), along with Danny's delicious smash burgers.

This Saturday, September 26, we are entered into the Mountain State Forest Festival Chili Cookoff and will defend our win from 2025.

Thanks to Revelle's River Resort for inviting us to set up for Labor Day weekend. Even though the hard rain Saturday morning messed up our plan to serve breakfast, we were able to serve Sunday morning. Thanks to our customers - you're what drives our success!!! Thanks to my niece Ashley Roy, Izabella and Quinn Shaffer for the help and good time!! We plan to be back at Revelle's on Saturday, October 17 for the Halloween celebration. On a side note, we empathize with the many vendors at various local shows who lost tents and merchandise due to the horrible storm Friday night and Saturday morning. This has been a very trying summer for all of us❤️

This has been a rough year for a food wagon owner!!! Every weekend we've set up this year rain and storms!!! They even blast in after we've suffered temperatures exceeding 100 degrees in the wagon. This morning is no different...it looks like some pretty good storms until 11:00 or so. To our customers at Revelle's, we probably won't open until lunch time, but I'll still have my sausage gravy and biscuits if anyone wants some.

The smoke is rolling and prepping for set up Saturday and Sunday, September 5 and 6, at Revelle's River Resort in Bowden. We'll be set up in Lot 63 near the center of the lower campground. We'll have are favorites: brisket, pulled pork bbq, macaroni and cheese and more. Our outside area will be cooking smash burgers, Italian sausage, sautéed onions and peppers and fries. We also plan to have biscuits and homemade sausage gravy for breakfast!!! Come see us for some good homemade, homestyle, delicious food!!!!!

What do we do when we finally get a weekend off? R & D....research and development!!! On Saturday, one of our local suppliers had a cookout with some of their local meat..homemade hot Italian sausage and ribeye sandwiches. The food was very good. On Sunday, we tried some of our own, but with our spin. It is important that we only use fresh local meats...no frozen or imports, on our food wagon. It is cooked and assembled fresh. Quality and flavor is very important to us, and I know it's important to our customers. Hope to see you this Saturday and Sunday, September 5 and 6, at Revelle's River Resort for Labor Day weekend!!!!
