Expect tasty versions of the classics you want on Thanksgiving. Turkey, Stuffing etc.... plus a couple "Southern Style" dishes we are sure if you try em .... you're gonna like em. Whew. Glad that's over... well kinda.... Hope ya'll had a great time at the Watermelon Festival!!! We did.. even though it was more work than play it was still a great time. THANK YOU EVERYONE WHO STOPPED IN AND SEEN US!! We had a great Morning, Lunch, Dinner AND LATE NIGHT BREAKFAST crowds.... I hope everything was up to everyones liking..... We'd sure appreciate feedback either way .. positive or .. well not so positive.. That way we can adjust to give you the customer satisfaction we strive for.

We are running on our "REGULAR HOURS" now so stop in for COFFEE, BREAKFAST, LUNCH OR DINNER... We'll have somethin "ON SPECIAL" FOR EACH MEAL... AGAIN THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT AND PATRONAGE..

Well.. First things first.. YES WE ARE OPEN.... Some things have changed but the great food and customer service are still priority. Tonight we have our usual Friday Night Rib Special along with Rib Eye and Shrimp Skewers.. Tomorrow.. along with a BEER GARDEN OUTBACK... We'll have GREAT LUNCH AND DINNER SPECIALS... LUNCH- LOADED POLISH SAUSAGE (kraut & carmelized onions) or BAR-B-Qed PULLED PORK SANDWICH.. each with CHIPS.. $7.50 TAX INCLUDED... DINNER- BRISKET, or SMOKED CHOP with choice of BROCCOLI/CAULIFLOWER SALAD or PASTA SALAD (with homegrown veggies) PARTY POTATOES & DINNER ROLL ... $10.50 TAX INCLUDED.... and if that's not enugh. We will be serving LATE NIGHT BREAKFAST... FROM MIDNIGHT TO 3:00 A.M.!!!! Come get BISCUITS AND SAUSAGE GRAVY OR SCRAMBLED EGGS, TOAST AND CHOICE OF BACON OR SAUSAGE.... $6.00 TAX INCLUDED.

WE WILL BE CLOSED ON SUNDAY.. BUT YOU CAN GET A GREAT FRIED CHICKEN DINNER JUST A COUPLE DOORS DOWN AT THE VFW.. FROM THE GAURDIANS OF THE ST. JOE CHURCH..

What have you been up to? LOL That's a loaded question. LOL We've been up to a lot. We'd almost bet a dollar some folks may even know more of what we've been up to than us. hahahaha All kidding and jokes aside... we at Velma's Lazy B want to extend a HUGE amount of gratitude to our customers, new, present and past, and a thank you to the entire community. Any inconvenience to any one of you is not our intent EVER. We just want to let you all know a few things. (Good things) WE ARE OPEN FOR BUSINESS---- REGULAR HOURS. We have experienced a couple cow pies on our path lately and we are doing our best to get that S #!% out of our way so we can provide you with the great food and customer service we are known for. We will have a fenced in BEER GARDEN out back for Watermelon Festival. We will have BEER SPECIALS, FOOD SPECIALS (we won't be offering full menu all day) as well as Good music, ice, ci******es, fountain pop to go, bottled water etc...oh.. and a bunch of Weirdees working to make your visit a good one.....
