5-C Smokehouse Chicken Tortilla Soup made with 5-C Chicken Seasoning & Pinto Bean Seasoning for a little Texas flavor in every bowl. ❤️

Ingredients:
- 1 lb chicken breast or 3 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
- 1 tbsp butter or oil
- 1 small yellow onion, diced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can corn, drained
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 can Rotel
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup water
- 1½ tbsp 5-C Smokehouse Chicken Seasoning
- 2 tsp 5-C Smokehouse Pinto Bean Seasoning
- ½ tsp cumin
- Juice of ½ lime
For topping: tortilla strips, shredded cheese, avocado, cilantro and lime.

Directions: Sauté the onion and bell pepper in butter or oil for 4–5 minutes, then add the garlic. Add the chicken, broth, water, tomatoes, Rotel, 5-C Chicken Seasoning, 5-C Pinto Bean Seasoning and cumin. Simmer about 20 minutes, shred the chicken, then return it to the pot. Add the black beans and corn and simmer another 10 minutes. Finish with lime juice and serve with tortilla strips and cheese.
