I'm not crying, you're cryi-......no actually, it's me, I'm definitely crying. 😭
I've had a hard time getting around to posting this because honestly, I have been avoiding it.
Joey has been with us for over a year and he had his last day on the 20th.
Everyone on my team is special to me but the ones that stick around a long time and that I have the opportunity to spend more time with, naturally that bond grows and becomes deeper. That makes it that much harder to let go.
Joey, Timothy and Elora (my kids) have become the best of friends these past 2 years.
Having Joey around made life a little funnier, easier and more full of joy!
He would always go above and beyond to help us with big events and special days. He is a hard worker, respectful, kind and caring. He is always thoughtful, honest and dependable.
He and Timothy specifically were basically inseparable lol. If they weren't working together they were at the gym, at the golf course, Chipotle, bowling, or at our house 😂 and if they weren't together they were on the phone!
My family has spent so much time with him I truly feel like I got a bonus 4th son. He's made me laugh, a lot, I've tried to encourage him right along with my own kids and pretty sure I've even yelled at him, only a time or two lol. What a gift.
Joey's family is moving to North Carolina and we are going to miss him so very much!
Joey, I love you kid! 🥹 Thank you for being a great employee and thank you even more for being such a great friend and becoming a part of our family!
These are some of the best times! Cherish these kinds of friendships, they really do only come along once in a lifetime or maybe twice if you're lucky.
Say bye to Joey with me! 😭🥹 And pray for me cause I'm not okay lol😆
