Well today was the last day for Pop Pop, Nana, Dawn and Jewels and man what a day this was! A huge THANK YOU to everyone that come by to say hello and goodbye to us!!!! I was absolutely horrible at taking pictures today but managed to get a few! To our employees, we could not have done this without each and everyone of you!!!! You guys killed it each and everyday and we love each and everyone of you!!! To our customers, thank you for your continued support for 13 1/2 years!!! Your support made us who we are today!!!! To our family and friends, thank you for your continued support and love and prayers!!!! Please continue to support our family friend as he carries on the restaurant! Again thank you all!!!! We love each and every one of you!

It’s the OGs LAST FRIDAY NIGHT!!!! We would love to see you guys!!!!! And don’t forget our car show tomorrow because it looks like the weather is gonna be great ❤️

But don’t worry, your cooks, and your food will remain the same Pop Pop quality!! None of that is changing!!! We will be having a car show and celebration on Saturday May 30th!!! Come see Pop Pop, Nana, Dawn, Jewels and many of the original crew for our last day as owners!!! We want to personally THANK EACH AND EVERY ONE of YOU for the last 13 1/2 years! You all have made these 13 1/2 years unforgettable! We have made many life long friendships and value them all! While this is a bittersweet time for our family it’s also a time for us to slow down and enjoy our family!!! We’re not closing and hope that you will continue to support the new owner and show him just how amazing this town and its people are!!!!!

Guess What???? We are back OPEN!!!!!!! Oven was fixed a lot quicker than we thought so we are open now till 830!!!

Due to equipment issues Pop Pops will be closed tonight, April 30 and tomorrow, May 1st! We look forward to seeing you all on Saturday, May 2nd!!!!

Pop Pops will be closed on Tuesday, February the 24th for the funeral of Pop Pop and Jans brother Steve. We love you all and will see you on Wednesday February, 25th 11-830.

Pop Pops Pizza would like to congratulate our very own Jewels Messer Spink and her husband on the birth of their son Theodore Paul Spink! He is absolutely precious!!!!! Welcome to the family sweet boy! We love you so much already!

Today we want to give a heartfelt thank-you to Linda Cappetta and Jewels Spink for an incredible journey with us at Pop Pops Pizza.

On and off for 10 years, Linda has been a dependable, and caring presence in our restaurant family. She’s someone we could always count on, and her dedication, work ethic, and heart for people helped shape our restaurant to what it is today. She was constantly making goodies for us and her customers and was a great assets to us all. Linda has decided it is time for her to retire and enjoy time with her friends and family. We will greatly miss her and her spunky attitude in the dining room.

On and off for 13 years as well, Jewels has been the same constant, dependable part of the family. She’s someone who learned to do it all, if we needed to be gone she could handle all of it. She was always here and became more of our child and grandchild than an employee. Jewels got married two years ago and moved to Greer but has been helping on the weekends still waitressing or whatever we needed her to do. She is now closing in on time to having her first child and is taking this time to rest and get prepared for the next chapter of being a momma. We will greatly miss her at the restaurant but will definitely be keeping in touch and spoiling our new addition when he gets here.

We are truly grateful for the years both of these beautiful souls gave to Pop Pops Pizza, and while we will miss them greatly, we celebrate the legacy they both leave behind here.

Thank you, Linda and Jewels for everything you’ve done for us. You’ll always be part of the Pop Pops Pizza family! We love you guys!!!!
