Hello Cupcake will be taking orders from now until 5PM on Friday, March 31st, with 100% of the profits being donated to the Sjodin family. $10 for a pack of four gourmet cupcakes.
Janae Sjodin is one of my teammates on the Carlton-Wrenshall Raptors softball team, and she is one of the toughest, kindest athletes around as well as a natural leader on our team. Last Friday, she and her little sister Jaela, who is also a wonderful and talented member of the Raptors softball program, were in a serious car accident. Jaela is home with her family, but Janae is still recovering in the hospital with severe injuries, including many broken bones and a brain injury. I would like to help raise some money to gift to the Sjodin family during this difficult time.
These Spring-themed gourmet cupcakes will come in packs of four for $10 per pack. You can choose between vanilla or chocolate cake, with all cupcakes being topped with Hello Cupcake's signature made-from-scratch buttercream frosting.
*** HOW TO ORDER ***
If you would like to order some cupcakes to help support Janae and her family, please send a direct message to Hello Cupcake on Facebook with the number of packs you would like to buy and the flavor of cake you would like.
Cupcake orders can be picked up from Four Seasons Hockey Arena in Carlton on Monday, April 3rd, from 4:30PM to 6:30PM. Payments can be made at the time of pick-up.
***UPDATE, Wednesday, 8PM: I am excited to announce that I have reached my maximum of how many cupcakes I can make this weekend, because that means we have sold over 200 boxes of cupcakes in under 24 hours to support the Sjodin family! While I can't continue to take new orders for pick-up this Monday, I will continue to take new orders until 5PM on Friday, March 31st, to be picked up at Four Seasons in Carlton on Friday, April 7th, from 4:30PM to 6:30PM. If you have already placed your order, your pick-up will still be on Monday. Thank you so much to everyone making this possible!***
Thank you to this community for uniting together and finding creative solutions to help the Sjodin family. Please continue to send your thoughts and prayers their way. π
