Farm Tours? You got it! 🍠🚜
At Burch Farms, we love opening our farm to local schools and giving students a firsthand look at what we do every day. There’s nothing quite like seeing agriculture up close—and we’re proud to share that experience with the next generation.
Back in September, we had the pleasure of welcoming Clinton City Schools during the peak of our sweet potato harvest. With notebooks in hand and homework assignments straight from our farmers, students learned all about the journey of a sweet potato—from planting to harvest. Seeing their curiosity in the field, surrounded by freshly dug sweet potatoes, made the day even more special.
We wrapped up the tour the best way we know how—with a little lunch from a Clinton favorite, Southern Style Chicken & BBQ. After a morning on the farm, there’s truly nothing better than their fried chicken sandwich to top off the experience.
Sharing our farm, our story, and our passion for agriculture with students is something we treasure—and we can’t wait to welcome the next group out to the fields.
