Yesterday was one of those days every small business owner dreads.
When the power went out, we held onto hope that it would be restored before temperatures inside our coolers reached unsafe levels. Unfortunately, after 9 hours without power, that wasn’t the case.
This afternoon, we disposed of all perishable products. Know that your health and safety will always come before our bottom line.
At Daily Grind, we refuse to cut corners. If there is ever a question about the quality or safety of a product, the answer is simple. We throw it away and start over- even when it hurts.
So tonight, our team has been hard at work restocking shelves, preparing fresh ingredients, and getting everything ready to serve you tomorrow morning.
As you go about your week, we would ask you to keep your local small businesses in mind. Many businesses throughout our community were impacted by this outage and were forced to throw away thousands of dollars worth of inventory. These are the businesses that sponsor local teams, donate to community events, support local families, and work hard every day to serve our town. 🖤💛🩶
If you’re able, stop by this week for all your favorites. Your support means more than you know.
We are incredibly grateful for this community and for every person who chooses to support local.
We’ll be here bright and early tomorrow morning, serving up fresh coffee, fresh food, and plenty of gratitude.
❤️ Thank you for supporting Daily Grind Coffee. We couldn’t do this without you.
