Around the world, pizza toppings vary greatly, reflecting regional tastes, local foods, and cultural preferences. Take a look at some of the toppings that stack pizzas around the world according to HowStuffWorks:

1. India -- pickled ginger, minced mutton, and paneer (a form of cottage cheese)

American Starz Pizza Buffet is proud to announce our participation in the Macomb County Meals on Wheels Volunteer Appreciation Celebration later this month.

The Celebration is a way for the Macomb County Meals on Wheels program to thank their volunteers for their commitment to feeding the home-bound members of our community.

If you are not familiar, Meals on Wheels is a food delivery service for the home-bound here in Macomb County. However, what you may not know is how impactful the moments of contact between the volunteer and the recipient can be. For many seniors, the volunteer who drops off their meal is the only person they will see that day. The delivery isn't just about nourishment, it's about a valuable moment of human connection. And in turn, it's those moments of human connection that make volunteering so rewarding.

Meals on Wheels Volunteers do the following:
- Attend a new volunteer orientation.
- Deliver meals two times per month.
- Routes take approximately 90 minutes to complete.
- Routes are driven Monday through Friday at lunchtime.
- Routes can be located close to a volunteer's home or work.
- Holiday meals are delivered on Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
- Emergency Preparedness Packs are delivered twice a year on Saturdays.

A huge thank you to everyone who showed up to the 6th Annual Festival of Pizza to support Relay For Life Clinton Township last night!!!! There were over 200 people in attendance and over $2,000 was raised.

Thank you also for voting us the BEST PIZZA 2018!

Come check out our buffet this weekend and sample some of our favorite pizzas including our Coney Dog Pizza, Chili Cheese Fries Pizza, BBQ Chicken Pizza, Macaroni and Cheese Pizza as well as some of our dessert pizzas like Apple Pie Pizza and S'Mores Pizza!

According to Cancer Statistics 2018 published for the American Cancer Society, an estimated 1,735,350 new cancer cases will be diagnosed in 2018.

Come help us in the fight against cancer by attending the 6th Annual Festival of Pizza on Thursday, March 1st from 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm at Chippewa Valley High School. Proceeds from this event help us all in the fight against cancer.
