🌼 A sincere and big ask at the end of this post! 🌼 Last week we celebrated our 11th birthday! It was a beautiful get together. Anna became our new "Member for Life!". Joe won the Win Lose Banana tournament for a SECOND YEAR in a row! Dylan, grilled glizzies and hamburgers. We got "chaulked" again. And we reminisced with community members we've known now for years.
At the same time that we're celebrating this summer, we're struggling. The World Cup has been a huge hit on business (we're out cheering for our teams just like y'all are!), additionally last week two of our freezers broke down, leaving us us having to replace the equipment and their contents. On top of all this, we lost power Friday and Saturday cutting into the majority of our sales on a holiday weekend. During 11 years it's always been hard, but getting kicked while your down feels like an understatement right now.
Here's the ask. If it's been a while since youve been in, now i a good time. If you've got friends who you think would enjoy hanging out in the cafe, bring em or tell them to check it out. If you've wanted to try Blood on the Clocktower, or a Mixer, or D&D or some fun RPGs, this is a great month to try it out.
Regardless, we're a bunch of scrappy bi***es over here. We'll figure it out, but we'd love some support right now.
