Artist Spotlight - Sean O'Bryan Smith

Studio and touring bassist for such artists as Wynonna, Larry Carlton, Keith Urban and George Clinton, Sean currently performs as a solo artist, clinician and with recording artists Buddy Jewell and Anna Wilson. Sean is carving new frontiers as a film composer and multi-media studio owner of Anam Multimedia at Studio 2901 in Nashville, Tennessee

Sean recently received nominations from the AFA Truth Awards for 2 movies he scored: Best Original Musical Score for the motion picture Providence and Best Sound Editing for the motion picture 94 Feet.

We offer Sean our congratulations and appreciate his support throughout the years.

Armed with NXT 4 and 5 Double Basses, Sean recently added a NXT5F fretted cello to his arsenal. We can only imagine the amazing scores and lush orchestrations he will be creating in the near future.

As Sean says: "I am SERIOUSLY addicted to this NS Design NXT 5 string electric cello. This is one of the coolest instruments I've played in years. Thanks to Ned, Core and all of my musical family at NS Design. I WILL be using this on some upcoming films."
