Tomorrow we begin welcoming everyone back to the Clevelander. It’s been way too long! We are very excited and a little anxious with the guidelines put forth by the State of Ohio. These guidelines will prove to be quite a challenge and we ask everyone’s patience as well as cooperation while we make it through these difficult times.
Two main regulations that are now required are social distancing and the mandate that all customers must have a seat to be served. This will undoubtedly be quite a challenge and a change from what we are used to. The days of a “packed house” are temporarily gone, so please forgive us if we are forced to have you wait to enter. We will do our very best—we promise!
We have gone to great lengths to ensure the safety of both our customers and our staff! Some of things me have done: installed hand sanitizer dispensers at all entrances, installed new touch less bathroom faucets, separated indoor booths and tables with plexiglass barriers and we now use hypoallergenic furnace filters that trap virus and bacteria particles—prohibiting them from being spread through our the heating and cooling system.
We want you to be confident knowing that the menu you receive from your server/bartender was sanitized before it reached you and will be sanitized after you are finished. Condiments have been removed from tables, but all are available at any time.
We also want to stress that our excellent food made by our incredible staff, will still be available for takeout, curbside and Uber Eats. If you don’t feel completely safe going out, we understand and welcome your orders! Without fans at games, private parties and events—along with the mandated restrictions, all forms of takeout will be essential for us to get through this.
As of now, we will return to our regular hours and menus—including lunch ever day.
Thank you for your support in the past and going forward. With your patronage, the Clevelander will go on!
