Hello again, all of you lovely people. Well, the power is back on. Kaylee and I rallied hard today playing damage control. We lost a lot, but were able to save some. I’ve been up in some shape or form since 1:30 this morning. We are grateful for your understanding and support. We also cannot wait to see you again, although it will not be tomorrow (Sunday, July 5). We will be cleaning and working to replenish what we lost. We love you all so much, and are so proud to be serving our community down there on 14th and Rowley. YOU ARE THE BEST ❤️ LOVE TO YOU ALL ❤️ We will be back up and running on Monday, July 6th if all goes according to the more hopeful flow.

Good morning, all of you sweet and beautiful people! Here are just some thoughts for the sake of conveying my thoughts to you. I’ve never been very good at this social media thing. I’ve never been into the idea of posing myself, or what I do, in some sort of unrealistic or less genuine manner than what you can perceive with your own, filter-less eyes or script-less minds. I’ve never been into the idea of boosting myself up to something I am not. The whole notion of shouting from the mountaintop of social media to get likes, views, and followers is pretty lame to me. The thought of making some sort of attempt at being a content creator, instead of a small business owner, worker, and member of this community seems unbecoming of what I set out to do here at Terrapin. Engaging with the popularity contest of the World Wide Web feels like it would take away from what this old brick building on W. 14th is capable of. I see a lot of that sort of thing going on nowadays and it makes me feel… uncomfortable. When I walk away from here at the end of the day, I appreciate knowing that I attempted to do my best in the flesh. Anyway, those are some of my thoughts. I hope you all have a beautiful Sunday, as your beautiful selves. LOVE YOU ALL ❤️

Good morning, each and every one of you! Right now is always the time to lay it all out. There are certain things that will always be true, and others that will always be lies - Love is the highest of all truths, and hate is the lowliest of all lies. We live in a world split between the two. We reside in bodies split between the two. There is always a choice to be made, and actions to be taken. Will we choose truth or lies? I hope for myself that I can choose to love today. I can choose to leave that positive impact on the universal order of things. When I descend into hate and anger things will never go well, and nothing or nobody will be the better for it. Hate and anger will always lead to destruction. Love and light will always lead to healing, growth, and community.

P.S. This holiday weekend, there are a ton of things going on in Cleveland. One thing on Sunday, is the All Things For You flea. It will be going on from 11a-5p, and we will be open until 4p serving up rippers (those breakfast tacos we do from time to time), and G-Man’s Most World Famous Grilled Cheese Sandwiches™️. ***Rippers and grilled cheese served from 11-4*** We’ll look forward to seeing you!!

Happy Friday morning to all of you beautiful people!! It is looking like the weather is inching into something wonderful for the weekend - rising temps and some sunshine. We’re over here baking up some tasty treats, checking in with our regulars, and looking forward to seeing you all. If there’s anything that is important to us here, it is supporting the people around us. It’s creating a safe space for you all to come and be yourself. It’s not only being a part of the community, but also being a part of building community. Let us love on others, be compassionate, embrace humility, and try our damndest to make a positive impact on the here and now. We LOVE you ALL ❤️
