Chapa Mas has always been more than just a food truck. It has a story, a purpose, and a very special person behind it.
Our beautiful Yessina is a huge part of the reason Chapa Mas exists today. After losing my aunt to COVID, our family went through a pain and change that is hard to put into words. Through everything, Yessina has reminded us what love, strength, happiness, and family truly mean. She is the heart behind so much of what we do.
Chapa Mas was built from family. It was built during difficult times, through loss, sacrifice, love, and the desire to create something that could bring people together. When you support Chapa Mas, you are supporting something that means much more to us than selling food.
We also have a very special place in our hearts for families who are raising and caring for children and loved ones with Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities. We understand that every family has its own journey, its own challenges, and its own beautiful moments. Whenever we have the opportunity to support, give back, bring happiness, or simply make a family feel seen and welcomed, that is something we want Chapa Mas to always stand for.
Right now our family is entering a new chapter. Due to family emergencies and changes in our lives, we have made the decision to move Chapa Mas to Miami. We are also working on our new food truck, so the trailer chapter has officially come to an end. We are excited about what we are building and about bringing Chapa Mas into this next season.
We will continue accepting catering, weddings, private parties, corporate events, and special events while we make this transition.
To every person who has eaten with us, booked us, shared our posts, recommended us, supported our family, or simply stopped by to say hello, thank you. You have been part of this journey with us, and we will never forget it.
But before the food, before the truck, before the logo and everything Chapa Mas has become, there was family.
And this beautiful girl right here is one of the biggest reasons behind Chapa Mas.
