As many of you know, this week is a big one for our family as we celebrate our graduate and all of the accomplishments that have led to this moment.

With graduation events in full swing and a few staffing challenges, we will be closing at 5:00 PM today so we can be where our hearts are calling us to be.

We will be back and ready to serve you:

Thursday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Friday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Saturday: 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Sunday: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Normal business hours will resume next week.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and support of our small family business. One of the greatest gifts of owning Miners Pizza + Pastry Co. is being able to show up for our children during life's biggest milestones, and we don't take that privilege for granted.

Looking back, maybe we should have known this was a sign.

Long before Miners Pizza + Pastry Co. was ours, before the long days, late nights, dough mixers, and pizza ovens became part of our daily lives, there was a little boy who absolutely loved Miners Pizza.

As I was going through old photos, I came across these pictures of tiny Owen proudly enjoying his road pizza. At the time, it was just a favorite meal and a happy memory. We had no idea that a few years later we'd be the ones standing behind the counter, serving the community we love.

It's funny how life works sometimes. The pieces fall into place long before we can see the picture they're creating.

Today Owen still loves his pizza, but now he gets to watch firsthand what it means to build something, serve a community, and pour your heart into a small business.

Maybe it was fate. Maybe it was God's plan. Either way, seeing these photos reminds me just how incredible this journey has been.

And looking at that little face covered in pizza happiness, I can't help but think we should have known all along. ❤️🍕

The cat is officially out of the bag… 🐾🤼‍♂️

After YEARS of hard work, dedication, sacrifice, early mornings, late nights, injuries, tears, triumphs, and unwavering commitment to the sport he loves… Sawyer Evans has officially signed to continue his academic and wrestling career at St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida! 🌴🔥

From youth wrestling tournaments to the bright lights of the Tacoma Dome, we have watched Sawyer pour every ounce of himself into becoming the athlete, teammate, leader, and young man he is today. Nothing about this journey was handed to him. Every milestone was earned through grit, discipline, and heart.

Warrior Wrestling has been such a huge part of shaping his life, and we know the lessons, friendships, coaches, teammates, and memories from this program will stay with him forever.

Miami is getting one tough Warrior. 💙💛

We could not be more proud and excited to watch this next chapter unfold. Congratulations Sawyer! Your wrestling family is behind you every step of the way.

Memorial Day has always carried a heaviness in our home.

For many, today is not simply a long weekend. It is a day of remembrance, reflection, and honoring the brave men and women who never made it home to their families. ❤️

Because of that, we choose to spend this day together as a family while taking time to reflect on the sacrifices made for the freedoms we are blessed with every day.

That being said Miners Pizza + Pastry Co. will be closed today in observance of Memorial Day.

We are forever grateful to those who gave everything, and to the families who continue to carry that loss each day.

We will see you all Tuesday. 🇺🇸

She is SHINING and will be parked right next to our booth again this year helping draw you all in for hot pizza by the slice, giant cinnamon rolls, sweet treats, and all the Memorial Day weekend goodies! 🍕🍩🚙

We truly appreciate the support from other local small businesses and all the pride Nick puts into his work. If your ride needs some love, go check him out! The Bronco looks good as new!🙌
