Meet the kitchen: Salvatore Gaglio

“Sal joined us earlier this year, bringing a wealth of knowledge and an invaluable skill set to our team. As a graduate of the esteemed NGTC Culinary Arts program, he has proven himself to be a professional chef with a promising future. It’s truly a pleasure to work with him, and we are fortunate to have him on our team.” - Executive Chef Ryne Brown

Sal, can you share a bit about your career journey leading up to now? - “I’ve worked in restaurants since I was 12 years old, including two years spent overseas in Germany refining my culinary craft.”

What is one value that is important to you in a kitchen? - “Consistency and positivity are essential for any kitchen to thrive.”

What is your favorite thing to cook or order? - “Any home-style meal from childhood; it’s hard to beat a good meatloaf with mashed potatoes.”

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why? - “Japan would be at the top of my list, simply to experience the detail and care taken in food preparation.”
