Heads up: The Clayton High School Homecoming Parade is next Tuesday!

Join us Tuesday, September 29, at 6 p.m. along Main Street in Downtown Clayton for this annual community tradition! Come out and cheer on the Clayton Comets as they celebrate Homecoming with family, friends and the Clayton community. If you cannot make it in person, the event will be live streamed via the Town of Clayton page as well.

🚧 Road Closure: Roads along the parade route will close at 5:45 p.m. and remain closed until all participants have cleared the roadway, approximately 7 p.m.

Come join us every Tuesday night for a delicious prime rib dinner. Each dinner comes with your choice of a 12-16 ounce (or larger) piece of delicious, slow cooked prime rib, au jus, creamy horseradish sauce, unlimited salad bar, choice of side and Texas toast. 12 ounce is $42, 14 ounce $46 and 16 ounce is $50. It’s last Friday in Clayton!!! There will be so much going on tonight, including the night market and the luau in Midtown. Come grab some dinner and explore all our awesome town has to offer.
Tonight’s dinner special is the grilled mahi mahi with a lemon dill butter. It is served with unlimited salad bar, Texas toast and your choice of side.

For those of you who have been coming to the Clayton Steakhouse since the beginning, you knew Mr. Michael, and likely knew him well. There was hardly ever a time that he wasn’t at the bar or working in the kitchen while the restaurant was open. Michael was not only the founder of our vibrant little restaurant, he was also a pillar in our community and a mentor to many, including us. We were so fortunate that he and Betsy trusted in us and worked tirelessly to help us make the dream of owning our own small business into a reality. Michael was humble, kind, tough when necessary and would have done just about anything to help those in need. He was more than a boss to us, he was our friend, our mentor, and a father figure. We were blessed to have known him and to have loved him. He will be sorely missed here at the restaurant and in our community. Continued prayers go out to Betsy, their daughters, grandchildren, family and friends. Heaven has truly gained another angel, rest in peace Michael.
