It’s Taco Tuesday at Moresi’s Chophouse, and it’s gonna be a gorgeous one!
As well as our regular and Taco Tuesday Moresi’s Chophouse menus, tonight, we’ll also be featuring the following specials:
• Mango, watermelon, pineapple, or prickly pear margaritas (make it picante by adding Ancho Reyes Chile Liqueur, chamoy, and Tajin)
• Cantaritos (tequila blanco, freshly squeezed grapefruit, lemon, lime, and orange, Sq**rt! grapefruit soda, chamoy, Tajin)
• Pisco Sours (Pisco, lime, simple syrup, egg white, bitters)
• Cuban Libre (Cuban rum, Mexican Coca Cola, fresh lime)
• Esquites (roasted corn kernels, jalapeño, red onion, garlic, Mexican-style crema, mayonnaise, Cotija, Tajin, lime. Available in an individual cup, or a family-style share bowl)
• Esquites Salad (our Taco Tuesday Taco salad, topped with Esquites, and your choice of either chicken fajita mix or flame-grilled steak)

There is a really incredible Hispanic Heritage celebration happening in the Grove this Sunday, September 20, from noon-4 pm. The organizers of this event have some really great features for this event like shows by Mariachi Mexicanismo, Ballet Folklorico, and Soucano, food vendors, dancing, car show, and more! We really encourage you to come check out this wonderful event celebrating Hispanic culture and community.
Moresi’s Chophouse will open the bar, deck, and parking lot seating for cocktails and light snacks. Just order at the bar and help yourself to deck seating. We encourage you to try the food from the festival, so outside food from the festival vendors is welcome between noon and 4 p.m. (Outside food prohibited after 4 p.m. when our kitchen opens. You must purchase drinks from our bar for seating at Moresi’s. Drinks from Moresi’s Chophouse may NOT leave our property. No takeout beverages during the festival).
Come visit Antonio “Papi Chulo”, Jessica, and Dom for some great cocktail specials celebrating various Hispanic cultures like:
• Margaritas (your choice of regular, mango, watermelon, or prickly pear)

Dom’s your Pineapple Prince tonight behind the bar at Moresi’s Chophouse with a couple of pineapple driven cocktail specials:
• Spicy Pineapple Margarita (Olmeca Altos Tequila Reposado, Ancho Reyes Chile Liqueur, pineapple juice, lime juice, agave nectar, and Tajin)
• Jamaican Red Eye (Appleton Estates 8 year Jamaican Rum, St. George Spirits’ NOLA Coffee Liqueur, pineapple juice, brown sugar simple syrup, Angostura bitters). It’s a refreshing balance of sweet and bitter.
• And, while not a special, but a new addition to our bar program, did you know that our friends at Altamont B**r Work made a near-b**r version of their flagship Maui Waui IPA. And, it’s probably the best n/a brew we’ve tried. Still boasting the tropical hop notes of the full b**r, without the alcohol! Even if you aren’t practicing temperance, it’s worth a sip!
We will also be featuring a couple of delightful dinner specials:
• buttery, moist, umami black cod over rice pilaf and grilled asparagus
• succulent, braised lamb shank, served on the bone, with a vegetable rataouille and mashed potato

How flippin’ lucky were we five years ago to welcome to the Moresi’s Chophouse team (good job, ).
In the five years she’s been with us, Jess has become an invaluable member of the Moresi’s family, Ed’s “right hand man, Lefty”, Dom’s Mini-Me, and a beloved personality to team members and guests alike. Funny how someone so small could make such a great impact!
Come on down tonight to celebrate 5 years of Jess!
