Hey Everyone,
Last night, if you ordered the Pesto and didn't get your bread, please stop in today, let the bartender know, and we'll make it up to you.
Let me explain:
Last night I was cleaning the rice out of the sink drain and there was a bee I didn't see in it. It stung me on the finger. I am allergic.
So, of course I was in a panic, couldn't find my epi pens, etc etc. My hand started swelling up and I kinda left Jordan hanging at the bar taking orders. She called Spencer and even after a long day at work and in the middle of his own projects at home, he dropped everything and came to cover me in the kitchen so I could go to the hospital.
Elizabeth opened yesterday and when Jordan came to take over it was really busy, communication got lost and in the midst of all this s**t show I forgot to tell Jordan and Spencer that cheesy garlic bread went with the Pesto. I forgot to tell him even when he called me as I was sitting in the emergency room. Even when I got back I forgot. It doesn't end there...
When I got back the stupid dish sink mixer faucet handle decided to work it's way out and started spraying all over the place. So with a hand that couldn't bend and was incredibly painful, I tried to fix it to no avail. If you know anything about commercial sink faucets you know that they are full of moving 'specialty' parts. A very nice guy in the bar took the piece from me and went back in the kitchen to fix it. I don't know who you are, but thank you so much for bailing me out and fixing the sink!!

I am so grateful to Jordan and Spencer for picking up the pieces and keeping things running on a busy Friday night when I got unexpectedly put out of commission.
Sorry about this, we will either buy you a drink OR you can have the cheesy garlic bread if you want it. Thank you for understanding.

We're calling this night a 'you might just change your mind' night!

We have something really special for you. I've made this dish twice in my life and swore I wouldn't try to make it at Escape because it's such a PITA. But, I roasted the squash yesterday and the pork is ready, so I figured why not?
I can't find the picture I took so I stole this one off the original recipe (I modified it of course).
It's called Caramelized Pork & Curry Roasted Squash Udon Noodles.
The sauce is very incredibly flavorful with a tiny bit of warmth. It has mushrooms in the broth and veggies that go on top, and I do fried eggs instead of soft boiled. You can opt out of the jalapenos if that's too much for you. I used medium sized Udon noodles instead of the super thick ones. Even if you don't normally like Acorn Squash--you may just find that having it this way will change your mind!

We also have some more fresh homemade Pesto for our Pesto Noodles, this dinner will come with sauteed Onions & Mushrooms, fresh Tomatoes from our garden, Chicken, and Parmesan Cheese. Just like the squash, if you aren't normally a big fan of Pesto, this dinner just might change your mind on it.

So if you're feeling adventurous and up for something really different for dinner tonight, stop in and try one or both of these dinners. The Udon Pork probably won't be coming around again so don't miss out!

Well, we have all the stuff, so why not? I wanted to do them for free but it just isn't going to work out...Professionally taste tested, these pup cones passed the test!
Mojo, Koko, Sheena and the Little Girl (who is STILL up for adoption at Coco's Heart Dog Rescue, can't really figure out why?!) all say these are the best pup cups they have ever had.
Fresh Bacon Bits, Homemade Whipped Cream with very little sugar, all in a waffle bowl so it's totally edible. No plastic or paper to take away or throw away the bits & peices. Get yours for $5 including tax. The waffle bowls are on the spendy side but totally worth it!
Stop in tonight and grab one for your best furry friend when you get a $5 Margarita (Blackberry, Strawberry, Mango, Lime, Jalapeno Lime, or Hibiscus), some some cheap 3 for $6 Hardshell Taco's. Kassy & I will be slinging them for you all night!

Tonight we've got two homemade Apple Pies, one regular and one caramel! Still using the apples from my trees and they are the best apples I have ever had! Crispy, sweet and tart, they make the best pies ever!
If you didn't get a chance to try the homemade Pesto noodles tonight is your night! Simple and full of flavor, made with the basil we grow here, it just doesn't get any better :)

Homemade Spaghetti with Garlic Bread today!
If you're craving a burger, try the Cowboy Burger (BBQ, French's Onions & Cheddar) or Bacon Jam Burger (American Cheese, Sausage Patty, and Habanero Bacon Jam) both are delicious!
Mother Nature watered our gardens today to give us time for rest, fun, great food and a couple of drinks!
