Good morning, Mishima friends & family! This is just a (sad) reminder that TODAY is the LAST DAY that we will be OPEN for business.... for now anyway.

We still do not have a new location yet, and we are not sure when and/or if we will. If something changes, we will be sure to get the word out to you immediately!

We cannot begin to tell you how much it has meant to have so many people stop by to show their love and support for us this week. (Your patience has definitely been appreciated as well when the wait times for your food have stretched a little long when we were super busy!)

We are so grateful for our Mishima friends/family -- you've been such a blessing! Thank you for sharing the last 15 years with us!

😞 Sadly, the rumor IS true.... we will be closing (and SO MUCH sooner than we had originally anticipated!). Pending the outcome of our meeting with the builder this coming Wednesday, our last day could be as early as Saturday, August 5th. Crazy, right?!?! At minimum, it was supposed to be at least a few more weeks out but the builder is anxious to get the process going, and we respect that -- he has a lot to do in a short period of time! We will confirm what our last day will actually be immediately following the meeting with the builder this coming Wednesday; we will send out an updated post.

Clipper Petroleum, the store we lease our restaurant space from, is demolishing the antiquated (yet faithful!) building and rebuilding a brand new store in its place. We originally assumed that we would be back once the new store opened but we've since learned that they have made other plans. From what was told at the latest City zoning meeting, they are putting in a Burrito Loco (like what they have in the Gainesville, GA store) instead of having us return.

We have been diligently trying to find another suitable location but have been unsuccessful thus far. Based on sales and customer comments, we realize how important having a "pick-up" window is to our customers. If we are able to find another place, we will definitely get the message out there concerning the location and the date we will re-open. In the event we don't re-open, please know that we are so grateful to have been a part of this community as long as we have!

In a recent post, we referenced that August 8th is our 15th anniversary. We almost made it!!! We don't mention that in a braggadocious way by any means!!! We are so incredibly humbled and beyond grateful to this community for believing in us and for supporting us for so many years!

To every customer we've served and to every employee that has been a part of our journey, we sincerely thank you! And to the family members and friends that stepped up when we needed them and/or were simply there with their love and support along the way.... none of this would have been possible without you! 🤗 💜🙏

Here is our updated menu as of June 2023! We have made some adjustments and have also added some new combination plates.

August 8th will be our 15 year anniversary, and we are so grateful for the business and all of the support we've received from the Community all of these years! We are also extremely grateful for the many friendships and special connections that we've made through the years! 💜
