🥵 A quick note about this week’s heat…

As many of you know, The Lover’s Bite operates out of a food truck, and with this week’s extreme temperatures, the kitchen can become incredibly hot.

The safety of our team has to come first.

To help keep everyone safe, we’ve temporarily paused a few menu items that generate the most heat in the kitchen. That means our menu may look a little different than usual for a few days, but we’re still serving plenty of our favorites and working hard to get your food out as quickly as we can.

Our crew is cooking over hot grills and fryers while temperatures inside the truck climb well above what most people would ever want to work in. They’re staying hydrated, looking out for one another, and giving every order their best.

We appreciate your patience, your kindness, and your understanding while we make a few adjustments to get through this heat wave safely.

We see you.

We know many of you have spent years being told it’s “just a fad,” that you’re being difficult, or that you should just eat what everyone else is eating.

We know some of you drive an hour out of your way for a meal you can enjoy without worry.

We know some of you haven’t had a restaurant experience where you could order anything on the menu.

That’s why The Lover’s Bite exists.

Not because gluten-free is trendy.

Not because it’s popular.

Because everyone deserves food that is both safe and delicious.

Thank you for supporting us, sharing your stories, and trusting us with your meals.

We’ll keep doing what we do.
