Shepherd's Pie for lunch today!! Slow roasted beef, carrots, potatoes and peas in a thick delicious gravy, mashed potatoes and melted cheese. The soup is beef stew. Let's begin the week together....come eat with us!

I just want to stop for a moment, to be grateful and say thank you.

In every restaurant, there are patterns. You are going along, and everything is great, smooth sailing, life is good, and then you hit a hiccup. Or a speedbump. Or, in our case, you have the hiccups, hit a speedbump and a truck runs over you. The weekend had a rough start, both houses having issues. Issues that are certainly fixable, but disappointing when so much work goes into it and the final product let's you down.

That said...thank you, so much. Not one bad review (yet), not one overly scathing comment, just grace in the moment. You don't know what that means, unless you've walked this path. Every mess up is a blow to my confidence, and when your table is affected by our mistakes, it crushes my spirit. I hate it. I do not get up at 3 am to do this and it not mean something...your table means everything to me. And I will fix it when it isn't right.

Thank you, from my banged up heart! Today is another day, and we will overcome.

Today's lunch is a beef ragu with pork, carrots and onions in a tomato and wine sauce, served over penne (not the pctured tagliatelle). It is delicious, and comes with a side salad.
Tonight starts the new Friday Night Lights season. Everyone get out and support those Panthers! We will have steaks, fish, pasta, sandwiches and great desserts waiting on you. Start your weekend right here...come eat with us!

Great news... We did not sell out of chicken fried steak at lunch today. Which means you can have it for dinner!

Have it with mashed potatoes, gravy and green beans or with our new fried squash as a side.

Today, it's a blackened chicken sandwich, with lettuce and tomato, and served with our house seasoned fries. Loaded potato is our soup and we'll be waiting for you...come eat with us!

It's Friday! Let's end the week strong with chicken parmesan and a side of fettuccine alfredo. Hand battered, made to order and topped with house marinara and melted mozzarella. This will hit the spot! Our soup is broccoli cheddar and we have a fun surprise this weekend....

It's Thursday! Which means chicken fried steak for lunch, with that special house gravy you love so much, scratch mashed potatoes, and green beans. The soup is cajun potato with andouille sausage and just a little kick. We've got what you're hungry for and we will be here waiting for you...come eat with us!

Attention potential cooks!

We would like to add a grill cook to our award winning line.

Candidate must be able to work both lunch and dinner shifts daily, Tuesday through Saturday. Duties include stocking, cooking, cleaning the work station, and assisting with prep as needed. It's a busy restaurant and you will cook a lot of sandwiches, steaks, chops and fish. We wash our own dishes at lunch, and whoever has a moment to jumps into the dish pit. We have a strong kitchen, with people who love what they do and love doing it here. Come be a part of our team...call Amy at 479-647-4332 or just come by during business hours, 11 to 2, or after 5.
