🙏 THANKFUL THURSDAY 🙏
Today, I simply want to say THANK YOU, GOD.
Thank You for our business. Thank You for every customer who walks through our doors, places an order, shares our posts, recommends us to someone else, or simply keeps us in their prayers. Thank You for our incredible staff who continues to stand beside our family and help us keep everything moving.
And most of all, I thank God for continuing to carry our family through everything we have faced over these past three years. There have been moments when I truly didn’t know how we were going to keep going—but somehow, by God’s grace, we have.
I also want to be transparent because Caprigios® Pizza is a family business, and sometimes family and business simply cannot be separated.
Personally, I am still having a very difficult time without my mom, our beloved Oma. 💔 Every time I would leave work, I would call her. I would check to make sure she was okay, make sure she was safely in bed, ask if she needed anything, and tell her I loved her.
Now when I leave work, there is no call to make.
That moment hits me almost every day, and many evenings I find myself driving away from the restaurant in tears. Grief has been much harder than I ever imagined.
Trying to run a business, manage my own home, take care of everything that still needs to be handled at Mom’s home, and continue carrying the responsibilities of everyday life while grieving has been tough. Some days you put on the smile, walk through the doors, take care of what needs to be done, and nobody realizes how much your heart is hurting underneath it all.💔
I’m not sharing this for anyone to feel sorry for me. I’m sharing it because I’m human, I’m grieving, and I’ve always tried to be transparent with the community that has become part of our Caprigios family.
Through all of it, I am still THANKFUL.
Thankful that God wakes me up every morning.
Thankful for my family.
Thankful for our staff.
Thankful for our customers.
Thankful for this business God allowed us to build.
Thankful for the memories we have.
And thankful that even when the weight feels incredibly heavy, God continues to give us enough strength for one more day.
Our prayer is simply that God continues to help us carry on what we started and gives us the strength and wisdom to keep moving forward.
Thank you to everyone who continues to pray for me and my family. Please know that your prayers, your patience, your kindness, and your continued support mean more than you probably realize.
We love our customers. We love our staff. We love our community.
Today, even through the tears, we choose gratitude. ❤️
Grateful hearts. Faithful steps. Jesus first. 🙏
With love,
