Redneck Ranch Restaurant hosts free meals Thursday evenings from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Most Thursdays, 100 to 120 people are served in the dining room as well as the elderly at Brentwood Apartments. Liberty Baptist Church has consistently donated money and muscle on Thursdays. Several people volunteer from Clarkson Baptist Church. The VFW and the Auxiliary regularly donate money, and quite a few donations are made by individuals and organizations each month.
Donations are important to accomplishing the mission, but we honestly could not serve 120 people on Thursday evenings without volunteers. While most of these volunteers would be embarrassed should I mention them by name, most of them would be delighted with a hello or thank you. So, come out on a Thursday night and give them a thank you for serving the community of Clarkson. The meals are inexpensive but nutritious and great tasting.
We served 4 large pans of chicken pot pie tonight, which was made with the help of one of our volunteers. Many cakes and other desserts were brought in by volunteers, as well. Coleslaw and pizza were made by volunteers. Glenna’s restaurant took care of other side dishes, drinks, and washing dishes. I had the honor of delivering 20 meals to Brentwood along with 8 more meals to Aaronwood.
We invite you to join us on Thursday evenings. We welcome all. The meal is free, and we will keep it that way, but you can always donate one or two dollars toward the next meal if you would like to help finance the next meal.

Redneck Ranch Restaurant has updated its hours. Now closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Wednesday and Thursday we are open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. We also sponsor a free meal with community partners Thursday evenings from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays we are open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sundays we are open from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. We deliver pizza and barbecue within Clarkson city limits.
