Happy 70th Birthday, Don! 🖼️☘️💚
Today we celebrate an icon, the patriarch of our Alter House family: Donald Walsh, on his 70th year around the Sun.
Don has been a server here at Alter House for nearing five years and we couldn’t imagine our Team without him. He’s left an infinite lasting legacy by virtue of his abundant life experience and instinctual sense of adventure.
He is a dedicated server, a landscape architect, an artist, a neighbor, a mentor, a beloved friend, and our family.
We can always count on Don to come to our rescue - impeccably dressed in his iconic blue convertible with his Golden Lab, Bella, in the passengers seat.
Don is a bright mosaic of his life’s grand conquests across Scranton, New York City, Amsterdam, San Francisco, Provincetown, and beyond.
In his work, Don is resilient, zealous, and measured; in his personal life, he is witty, social, and ambitious. He teaches us to adapt to change and embrace the unknown. He reminds us to laugh as much as possible and appreciate one another.
Don’s legacy has been built through his unwavering dedication to authentic living.
Don - happy birthday to you! We are so grateful that the winding road of life lead you to our doors. You deserve all of the love and joy that life has to offer! We can’t wait to celebrate with you…and we’ll always have an espresso martini with your name on it.
