🕰️ From our towns past

If you’ve traveled down Old Stage Road here in Edgefield County, you may have passed a little piece of history without 4 The historic church building dates to the late 1700s and even sits on land connected to a Revolutionary War skirmish in 1781.

Horn Creek was more than just a church. It was part of the lives of generations of families who lived, worshipped and built their communities right here in our corner of Edgefield County.

Today, the old church is preserved as the Horn Creek Church Museum, giving us a chance to step back in time and remember those who came before us.
