The Dairy Phil is a walk-up vintage ice cream parlor that has been serving the Clare community since 1953. Dishing up specialty items, soft serve and hand-dipped ice creams, selected premium products, including non-dairy, no sugar added, and low-fat choices, the Dairy Phil has a treat anyone can enjoy. Catastrophe averted .....just as we had half the ice cream tubs loaded to go across the street miraculously , the power came back on....Praise God ...and thanks to our neighbors Witbecks family foods.Thanks for the option.... It's a Clare thing... neighbors watching out for neighbors!

Another busy weekend....With a local family reunion, a wedding at Best Valley Farm Barn Venue in Metamora....
And this morning at the beautiful historic Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club in Grand Blanc... For another year of flipping our famous flap jacks at the PGA Ally Challenge sponsored by McLaren... 78 PGA champions and professionals compete for a $2.2 million purse.This event benefits charities in the Flint area

The weekend started with a rehearsal dinner at Shamrock Park on Friday evening and yes, the wind and rain got us.Luckily they were late getting there and we had time to reset the tables. .
2 weddings and 450 stuffed Waffle cones at the racetrack in Stanton, this weekend. .... Out of 20 menu items.. And they all wanted the recipe for the green bean almondine and the kettle beef...If you can believe that...
Thanks to an incredible staff that went to Banister.and Blanchard today and Stanton tomorrow.... How come everything falls in the same two weekends for the month

62 year old Memories...Lay over in an Airport...84 year old stranger.... Found out that we were teachers in Mount Pleasant and Harrison... told us about going to Clare for a Sundae in 1964... The teacher then pulled up a current picture of the Dairy Phil on FB and said ...look at it now , my friend owns it!
His face literally lit up.....
How fortunate and blessed are we... to be able to make memories for generations of people families and the community.... this place is special....Continued thanks for your support...
