🍻 EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: MIKENDA SEYMOUR 🍻

Also known as Kenda, Lou, Llewellyn… and probably whatever name we holler when we need help. 😂

Mikenda is one of our Bartenders/Cooks and definitely helps keep things entertaining around the Corner! She has a fantastic sense of humor, is always game for whatever crazy idea we throw her way, and when you need someone to tell you exactly how it is—she’s your girl. 😂

Her favorite question around here?
“Am I fired yet?”
Somehow, Mikenda… still no. 🤷‍♀️😂

Outside of work, she loves Circle Wildcat sports, golfing, concerts, and—because everyone has their thing—a really good corn dog. 🐾🏌️‍♀️🎶🌭 She’s also our resident murder-mystery enthusiast and is usually caught up on whatever the latest true-crime series happens to be. 🔎

And then there’s one fact we simply cannot leave out…
Mikenda owns a THREE-FOOT SQUAWKING CHICKEN. 🐔😂
Why?
One word…. TAYLOR!
No further explanation necessary. 😂

We’re pretty lucky to have Mikenda behind the bar, helping in the kitchen, keeping us laughing, and being willing to roll with just about anything we come up with.

Cheers to Lou—still employed, still telling it like it is, and still the proud owner of one ridiculously large chicken. 🍻🐔😂

⭐ EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: LAUREN ⭐

Meet Lauren — all 4'7" of her. 😂 Don’t let the height fool you. She may be small, but she’s fierce, and she keeps things moving behind the scenes at the Corner!

Born in Minnesota, Lauren has called Circle home for the last 11 years. Around here you might hear her answer to Larry, Lil Note, Auntie Bob, or—if things have taken a serious turn—Lauren Ann. 😂

Most days you’ll find her in the kitchen prepping, cooking, tackling the never-ending dishes, or jumping behind the bar when needed. Basically, if something needs done, Lauren is probably already doing it.

Outside the Corner, she’s a paranormal and horror movie fanatic 👻🔪, loves hunting and fishing, is always game to try a new food, and is a MASSIVE Minnesota Vikings fan. 💜💛🏈 And yes, she takes full advantage of that fandom by teasing Fred every chance she gets. 😂

She has two cats, Callie & Gray, and a brother, sister-in-law, and nephew she loves spending time with.

And by “spending time with her brother,” we of course mean arguing with him. ❤️😂

She’s little. She’s mighty. She bleeds purple and gold. And she probably knows where the spatula you’ve been looking for is.
