🎶Pour Myself a Cup of Ambition🎶
Today is 9/25, a little wink to 9 to 5, and fans everywhere are setting it aside for Dolly. It’s the first one without her, so we’re raising a cup in her honor. 💛
Dolly never forgot where she came from. She started the Imagination Library so kids could hold books of their own, millions of them, completely free. When wildfires tore through the Smoky Mountains, she sent money straight to the families who lost everything. She held onto the rights to her own songs when the easy money said sell. And she built Dollywood in the hills that raised her, bringing jobs home instead of taking them away.
That’s the kind of economy we believe in: one where success gets shared, people come before profit, and what you build lifts up the place you came from.
