Pho Lang Thang

Pho Lang Thang 1) Same Same but different. 2) Don't be Lazy, Be Crazy! They set up shop in a cozy corner space in the heart of Over-the-Rhine’s historic Findlay Market.
(1257)

Pho Lang Thang began like many restaurants do, people missing food from their youth, brothers Bao and Duy Nguyen, along with friend David Le, wanted to bring pho, banh mi, bun and other classic Vietnamese staples to the Cincinnati area, just as the city’s culinary renaissance was beginning to take off. Here they found a quick audience, routinely overflowing the tiny space, gaining new fans weekly,

and even appearing on Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives. Eventually PLT outgrew the space and relocated around the corner to Race Street.

Che is Vietnamese most popular dessert! It got mung beans, red beans, and pandan jellies, served with crushed ice and coconut milk!

Introducing our Bakery’s most Unique items!

Che Ba Mau: Vietnamese classic 3 colors dessert cocktail! It’s layered with Mung Bean, Red Bean, and Pandan jellies. Then topped off with crushed ice and coconut milk mixture! A real sweet and savory treat to end your meal.

Pate So: A Vietnamese pastry inspired by French pastries! It’s a combination of buttery, flaky pastry shell with savory seasoned ground pork. In other words, the perfect snack!

Pho-spiced Croissant: A true PLT original, inspired by Kouing Amann. Buttery flaky pastry shell seasoned with Pho spices like cardamom, cloves, star anise, and cinnamon!

We said phở was on the list. Here's how that went.
Part 2: gỏi cuốn, phở, bún, cơm tấm. Not every dish wants to be walked around Findlay Market.
More lang thang-ness coming!!!!

Our name is Phở Lang Thang. Lang Thang means to wander, so we rated the lang thangness of our menu items.
First up: chả giò, bánh mì, chè ba màu.
Follow for Part 2. Phở, the first half of our name, is on that list.

As classic as this drink is to us, not a lot of people know of Lychee.

It’s an exotic fruit, sweet and refreshing, native to Southest Asia. If you know someone that might love lychee, tag them or share this with them! Let them try it out!

"It truly does taste like the che I grew up eating."

Chè ba màu isn't something most people in Cincinnati have had a chance to try yet. We think that should change. Think of it as a dessert cocktail: shaved ice, coconut milk, pandan jelly, red beans, mung beans.

Same thing we've always done here: share the food we grew up on. New on the menu at Phở Lang Thang, while it lasts.
