We are located in the Over the Rhine neighborhood of Cincinnati, on 14th street between Vine and Race streets, one block from Washington Park and two blocks from Historic Music Hall. The restaurant is built with our community in mind and our menu and atmosphere reflect the neighborhood - a mix of old and new. Meet Lia, our sommelier ✨

Born and raised in Cincinnati, Lia has been working in restaurants since she was 16, eventually finding her way into wine through wine-centric restaurants. She’s been a sommelier for about 4 years, and we feel very lucky to have her shaping our list here at Salazar. Her approach is thoughtful and intentional, with a focus on small-production, terroir-driven, low-intervention wines.

Outside of wine, Lia is a creative gal through & through. She studied graphic design at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, loves baking, gardening, film photography, and is part of the with her partner, Justin and their 2 friends - a project focused on building community through freshly milled flour and showing people all the beautiful ways that it can be used.

One of her favorite parts of being our sommelier? Hosting winemakers, bringing wine dinners to life & having the creative freedom to curate a list she’s proud of.

More importantly her dream… “I just want to move to California and make wine by the ocean.” Come say hi to Lia next time you’re in, and ask her what she’s loving on the list right now! 🍷🍇
