To the Cincinnati Community - today, we are sharing that we will be closing the doors to Mighty Good: Meat n' Three on Saturday, March 4. We have some initial info below and more to come, but the thing we want to say first and foremost is — thank you, thank you to all of our loyal customers, our in-town and out-of-town visitors, and our cheerleaders behind the scenes. We enjoyed every single conversation, took pride in every dish we made, and loved getting to know you and your families. We will miss seeing market shoppers stopping in for Saturday morning brunch and weekday lunch with friends.
A little history: The Corporation for Findlay Market and CityLInk launched a restaurant in 2019 to support the on-going learning of students with a place to refine their skills after in-class instruction. The restaurant at 1819 Elm (originally Social OTR) closed during the pandemic for an extended period of time and reopened as a Meat & 3 concept, Mighty Good in Fall of 2021. Mighty Good will be closing its doors on March 4 after having the pleasure of serving the Findlay Market District for the last 18 months. Many students spent time at the restaurant, building their skills as they begin their journey in the hospitality world. The culinary training program will continue at CityLink Center, with the same month-long training but now focus completely on externships established with the Levy Group at FC Cincinnati and other restaurant partnerships.
We will be sharing exciting plans for what's next at 1819 Elm, both short term and long term, very soon, but encourage everyone to make a trip to Mighty Good for one more meat n' 3 over the next week.
