It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the news of the passing of our dearest friend and long-time Findlay Market Merchant, Mark Whitworth.
We would bet that nearly every person that has visited the Market over the last decade plus knows Mark. And that is because he was the kindest, friendliest, and most welcoming presence inside of the Market House. His bellowing, "Gooooood Morning!", "Well, hello there!", "Have a great day!", greeted Market goers and staff every single day. His big laughter could usually be heard 4 stands away.
Mark was someone you could count on to show up, to go all out, and to treat you with respect. His ventures at Findlay Market, from Mama Lo Hizo to Mama Made It Kettle Korn, have become staples that people love. He had fun decorating his stands, and he did everything he could to make Findlay Market a better place for shoppers and his fellow merchants.
Mark's partner, family, and staff are in our thoughts, and we'll do everything we can to support them right now.
We will forever miss Mark. Findlay Market mornings and Saturday afternoons will be a bit quieter with him gone.

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a Tasting Tour featuring our Hispanic and Latinx-owned businesses on Saturday, October 11 from 2 - 3:30 PM! On this historic tour of the Market, we'll stop to sample authentic dishes and drinks from a handful of Findlay Market businesses. Tickets are $35 and include all samples, drinks, and treats received during the tour.

This is one of our most beloved events of the year, because Findlay in the Fall is simply too good to resist. We’re bringing you another year of Fall Food Fest, once again with an all-start lineup of almost 50 participating businesses who are excited to serve you warm, cozy fall-themed treats, drinks and gifts throughout the event!
