Richie’s began in 1986 with a simple concept - “Give people what they want!” The people have spoken - they want authentic, quality soul food on-the-go! Our customers claim we have the best spicy chicken anywhere! We marinate our chicken in- store, dip it in our special flour blend, and fry it fresh. Other customer favorites are our fried- to- order fish, and hand-cut, hot & spicy potato wedges. Our down-home sides feature southern and soul food classics including: mashed potatoes & gravy, mac & cheese, cole slaw, candied yams, and greens. No meal is complete without our sweet cornbread or delicious desserts, including peach cobbler and sweet potato pie. More than 25 years later, Richie’s is still the place to get great soul food on- the- go.

Growing from within is about more than filling leadership positions. It’s about giving our people a path to get there. ❤️

We believe someone who starts in an entry-level role at Richie’s Chicken & Soul should have the opportunity to learn, work their way up, and eventually lead a store.

Opening more locations should follow that progress. As our team develops and becomes ready to lead, we can grow together.
