We cannot to begin to thank everyone that came out and joined us for the inaugural Streetfoodxpo. Our judging panel were true troopers and tried over 38 sample dishes from our food truck entries... 38! That's a lot of food to judge but in the end they selected the Indigenous Chef for Best Entrée, Street Kitchen for Best Appetizer and Childers’ Chimney Cakes for Best Dessert. The People's Choice Award went to The Forking Pierogi. Huge shout to Christian Gill from Boomtown Biscuits & Whiskey, Grace Yek from Cincinnati State Technical and Community College Culinary program and Michael Sassano from the Thunderdome Restaurant Group for taking the time to sample all of the amazing dishes created by our food truck vendors. Special shout out to the The Gnarly Gnome, Paradise Brewing, March First Brewing, Third Eye Brewing Company, FigLeaf Brewing Company, Ohio Eagle Distributing, Warped Wing Brewing Company and more! We hope everyone enjoyed the entertainment from Dat Band, The Dunby Four, Final Order Band and of course Naked Karate Girls. The Parks & Recreation crew of Sycamore Township, Ohio did an amazing job helping set up and tear down the venue for this inaugural event.
