If you miss our freshly made kimchi then check out our new farmstand.
Our store will not be open this weekend. After last week's soft opening, I realized I needed more time to fill the shelves. We will be reopening on July 17th at 10 am.
I am taking this week and next to fill our shelves and our new Kimchi cooler. Kimchi has been proven to remove microplastics from the body. So, in addition to removing microplastics, it is nutrient-dense, full of pre- and probiotics, and delicious. I make a wide variety of kimchi, including Napa cabbage, English cabbage, cucumber, chive, scallion, garlic, okra, and daikon. Honestly, any fresh produce can be turned into kimchi. The Koreans developed kimchi as a method of preservation for their produce during the long winters. It turns out there are many healthy benefits to this delicious method of preservation.
Along with kimchi, I am also bringing in teas from around the world. That is not local! Unfortunately, traditional tea is not grown here in the United States due to insufficient altitude and climate. Tea is, however, an extremely healthy beverage that can be drunk freshly brewed or fermented into kombucha. As a former tea sommelier, I understand the different flavor profiles of tea and how to best brew them. I want to share that knowledge with all of you. I will be stocking a small selection of hand-picked teas that I am sure you will all love.
I have many other handmade products that will be gracing our shelves, but I am also on the hunt for locally produced products. Our heritage pork, produce, and eggs are always available to order and pick up from our website. I also suggest you sign up for our newsletter to stay abreast of our limited-quantity seasonal products and events.
