2016 was my first official year of making custom cakes!👩🏻‍🍳🎂 I marvel at how many I was actually able to produce having a baby & toddler at home that year!😲 I can tell I took a lot of pride in my work, was eager to expand my skills, and grow this business.

Ten years later in 2026, I checked and the last time I made a custom cake was in 2022. Do I miss making these beautiful cakes?
In short, my honest answer is NO. The only thing I do miss is being able to bring my customer’s dream cake ideas to life and make them happy! Obviously, it was a LOT of work, and after six years of the custom order grind, I stopped because I was ready to move on. I hate to admit it, but I was also burnt out from the constant grueling hours- even if I was in the comfort of my own home with my family, which is why I started a home business in the first place!

Nowadays, I love to teach cake workshops and private lessons to allow for more life balance while still sharing my craft. I still make cakes on rare occasions for my family, but only my own accord.

I look back fondly at all the cakes I made and remember making every single one of them!😆 For real, try me! I may not recognize my customers’ faces, but tell me your cake theme & I’ll remember your cake instantly!😁

The 29th Annual PASACAT Parol🌟Festival is always my favorite vendor event of the holiday season!🥰❄️ I love the performances, the ambiance, sense of community, and pride!🇵🇭🫶🏽

Thanks for your support the past nine years, and for understanding that I chose NOT to sell this Christmas week.☺️ The previous three weeks have been non-stop anyway😆

2025 has been a really challenging year for so many personal reasons. Business-wise, the highlight of this year were the multiple pop-ups & classes I taught, but I’m way behind on posting those!🫣 I know I’ve been pretty quiet most of this year not updating or even e-mailing my subscribers, but I’m still in business! The truth is, I have stayed as busy as I could possibly manage at this time -thanks to you!🥰🙏🏽
