October is looking pretty sweet, and we’ve got some exciting news!

We’re thrilled to be joining the Otay Ranch Farmers Market for the very first time tomorrow! 💛 We can’t wait to meet some new faces, see our wonderful regulars, and share all your Lemon Drop favorites!

I had so much fun making these Mediterranean-inspired lemon truffles! 🍋☀️

Each one was shaped like a little lemon, with tiny fondant leaves and flowers, paired with decorative chocolates featuring blue-and-white patterns and beautiful lemon imagery. I love how the combination of sunny yellow, soft blue, and white gives them that classic Mediterranean feel.

The little details take time, but they’re what make custom desserts so much fun to create. No two designs have to be exactly alike, and I love bringing a customer’s vision to life through something sweet!

Take a look at this recent project: My client picked up a classic sheet cake from Costco and wanted it personalized for a U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer milestone. I handled the design layout, printed the high-detail sugar sheet, and added custom hand-piped borders to anchor the image and blend it all together perfectly. ⚓️

From the custom designs to all the little details, these were such a fun project to bring to life — and even more special because this isn’t my first time creating treats for Elizabeth’s books. Last year, I had the opportunity to make custom cupcakes for her book Eleanore of Avignon. 📖
